Ciclovías at the Cornerstone Group's Geo Eco Lab

Community Design Group provided an overview of Open Streets / Ciclovía events at the Cornerstone Group's Geo Eco Lab on August 4th in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

CDG Project Engineer Colin Harris, P.E., along with CORNEJO CONSULTING Director Dan Cornejo and CDG Director Antonio M. Rosell, P.E., AICP, jointly presented "Ciclovía Events," an overview of ciclovía events around the world with attention given to local implementations.

The presentation highlighted Colin's direction and coordination of the inaugural Open Streets Ciclovía event in Minneapolis on June 12th.

The Cornerstone Group convenes the Geo Eco Lab, a multidisciplinary group of thought leaders who are exploring ways to create and sustain thriving communities - looking beyond bricks and mortar and considering the role of art, nature, local food, transit, healthy living and sustainability in building great neighborhoods.
