Materials from the 2011 Iowa Bicycle Summit
Des Moines recently added bike sharing as a transportation option for its residents and visitors.
CDG Director Antonio M. Rosell, P.E., AICP led a Bicycle Facility Design Workshop at the 2011 Iowa Bicycle Summit on Friday January 28 and, along with Andy Clark from the League of American Bicyclists, offered the event's keynote presentation on Saturday January 29.
You can find and download those materials, as well as all the references and design documents mentioned in the sessions, from the links provided below.
The Iowa Bike Summit, an annual event, was organized by the Iowa Bicycle Coalition and supported by the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT) and other partners.
It was a great honor to participate in this important event and contribute to the far-reaching work the Bicycle Coalition is spearheading on behalf of Iowa cyclists. We look forward to the opportunity to be of service again.
