Liliana will be presenting her experiences from work she completed in Haiti as a response to the earthquake of 2010. She will be part of the event entitled Learning from Disaster - Four Life-changing Projects in Haiti.

Her work was directed at providing a sustainable affordable housing solution in Haiti, with building units that can progressively expand according to the needs of the user. Additionally, the design took into consideration the climate and the culture of the Haitian population.

This project was built and presented in the Build Back Better Expo (BBB Expo) in Haiti and was visited by former US President Bill Clinton.
