Christensen teaching "Streetlife" course at U of M College of Design

CDG Designer Carrie Christensen, MLA, will be teaching a course starting in the Spring Semester of 2012 at the University of Minnesota's College of Design.

The class - entitled Streetlife - will examine the social, physical, geographic, ecological and political aspects of streets through exploration, question-making and reflection. The class will be a service learning class and draw connections to Twin Cities community-based organizations in two key Twin Cities corridors: West Broadway and the Central Corridor. Students will have the chance to reflect on and engage with local streets through public history, public art and public participation processes.
