CDG welcomes Julie Aldrich as Landscape Designer / Senior Project Manager

Julie Aldrich, ASLA, LEED AP has joined CDG as a Landscape Designer / Senior Project Manager.

Community Design Group (CDG) is very pleased to announce that Julie Aldrich, ASLA, LEED AP has joined the firm as a Landscape Designer / Senior Project Manager.

Julie brings 15 years of experience cultivating sustainable place-making and connecting cultural and natural systems. Her projects have received numerous design awards. Recently, Julie co-designed and led the implementation of Central Park of Maple Grove, MN which was recognized with a 2017 American Society of Landscape Architects/Minnesota (MASLA) Honor Award. Julie’s background strengthens CDG’s capabilities in urban design, multi-modal transportation planning, and site design.

Julie has managed a wide variety of project types with multi-disciplinary teams from pre-planning through construction, collaborating effectively with communities, agencies and stakeholders, facilitating community engagement processes and public presentations, and designed progressive, artful outdoor spaces of different scales. Her roles have included design lead, project management and community engagement facilitation.

Julie earned a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Minnesota and is a LEED accredited professional. She enjoys sharing her love of the outdoors with her husband and three young children through gardening, camping, hiking and exploring new parks and trails throughout the state.
