Community Design Group is working with other project partners to develop design alternatives for the Rochester City Loop in Rochester, MN. The project is developing a “city loop” bike trail that will tie into the existing bikes network while creating a route encircling downtown. Supporting Rochester’s DMC Development District, the City Loop will provide comprehensively branded, low-stress, high quality walking and biking facilities that safely connect residents, employees, visitors, patients, and patient companions with places and spaces throughout the downtown.
CDG is providing best practices and guidance around winter maintenance, designing operations of trails, and preparing concept alternatives. We are excited to use our 15+ years of pedestrian and bicycle design experience to strengthen these connections in Rochester.
